Slowburn is a cross between Capsicum baccatum and Capsicum frutescens. Morphologically the baccatum parent is dominant, both in growth habit and flower shape and colour.
As the name implies, at first taste these chillies seem quite mild, but the heat slowly builds into a lovely mouth filling glow. Great for people who are working to increase their heat tolerance as there is no fierce burn or harshness, but loads of complex flavour.
