Highly ornamental dwarf plants bearing a very heavy crop of small red chillies which are excellnt for use in aisian cooking and also dry well. The compact plants are easy to manage, and could be brought into the house at the end of the season to make an unusual festive decoration.
This excellent chilli has been awarded the AGM by the RHS.
An initial sharp pungency at back of throat which fades fairly quickly to be replaced by a long lasting burn initially on the underside of the tongue and then spreading to cover the whole tongue and lips.
Use fresh in Asian cooking or dry for use over winter.
